Katie & Jayce Vandervelde, by Katie Vandervelde

My husband and I did just about everything ourselves for our wedding. I'm a professional caterer, so we did the food. With lots of help we also made the invitations, decorations, flower arrangements, bouquets, and set up everything. Obviously, we were on a TIGHT budget, so initially we had no plans of hiring a photographer (other than perhaps a photography student or even have a family member document.)

We were gifted our photographer, Rachel, whom we found through McGinnis Booking, and I am so thankful we were. Looking back, it's worth investing in a quality photographer to document your wedding. There are so many precious memories that fade out over time without something to remember them by. I can't tell you the number of times I've looked over our photos since receiving them and have fallen in love with each and every one.

Not only were we given a beautiful preservation of those sweet memories of our wedding day, but we had a great experience working with Rachel and Isaiah. They are so much fun to work with! I love that they're interactive with their clients. They made Jayce and me laugh so much during the sessions both before and after the wedding! It felt more like they were part of the party and not just a hired crew of photographers.

About the photos, I think the proof is in the pudding! They turned out beautifully. Rachel and Isaiah gave us sneak peaks at the wedding as they were photographing, so we knew they would be good. But when we received the albums, we were blown away. Rachel definitely has a unique style, and they're absolutely beautiful! Jayce and I are so thankful to have had them there!!

What an incredible day!! It was an absolute joy and honor being a part of Brittany and Kaleb's special day at the Cotton Market Venue in Pearl, MS. From the ceremony and the décor, to the special first look moments between Brittany and her son, Keifer, every single part of the day was amazing. My most favorite moment of the entire day was the special sand ceremony during the wedding where all THREE participated - Kaleb, Brittany, and her son, Keifer. What a beautiful moment!

Brittany and Kaleb, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your coordinator! Y'all were so fun to work with, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together! #eatdrinkandbeHager

Megan & Allen, by Jessica McNeil

I love coordinating weddings, but when it's two people you know and have gotten to see their lives come together to this point of matrimony, it's such a blessing. That's how I felt about Megan and Allen's wedding. Megan and I worked together a while back, but even before that I had the pleasure of writing a story about the ministry that Allen was doing. This was before they were dating, so I got to know them as individuals and watch their relationship unfold. And when Megan asked me to coordinate their wedding, I didn't hesitate.

I love being a part of celebrating how God brings people together and creates a beautiful story- it's so exciting! Watching Megan arrive in her dress and feeling how excited and ready Allen was to marry this special lady made every bit of work worth it. One of my favorite moments of a wedding, and especially in this case with Megan and Allen, is while we are waiting behind closed doors before the bride walks down the aisle. Megan excitedly waited with her dad and when I opened the doors for her to be revealed to an expecting crowd, I could see the genuine excitement all over her face.

My next favorite part is in that very same spot when the bride and groom come walking out of those doors as husband and wife. This transition is more than just a change of words from bride and groom to husband and wife- it's their identity as one. God has brought them together to now work as one for His glory. Knowing Megan and Allen, I knew that's what this moment represented for them.

The celebration continued as hundreds of their friends and family greeted them with joy. It is evident how much they are loved and supported. Seeing that makes this job so rewarding.

Megan and Allen, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your new journey as husband and wife. Many blessings.

Olivia & Jon

I'm really excited about sharing these photos with you. Like really excited. Rachel Tolo (formerly Rachel Wilson (she just got married, too) of Rachel Wilson Images) shot this awesome wedding of these two awesome people. Get ready for me using the word AWESOME a lot because I don't really know how else to describe these two people, this wedding, and these photos.

Jon and Olivia are both from Greenwood, MS. Some would say they were high school sweethearts, but they just didn't know it at the time. They got married on March 5th at the Dunleith Plantation in Natchez, Mississippi, and if you've never been there it's definitely worth a day trip. There's a castle-like restaurant in the back and it's called, wait for it...The Castle. The entire venue is incredible, and your whole family can stay on the grounds for the weekend, just like Jon and Olivia's did. There are also different quarters you can stay in, which is perfect for if the bride and groom are trying to stay hidden from each other like in old tradition.  Enjoy these photos from their day!

What a wedding for the books! Kyle Hancock had the great pleasure of spending the day with Aaron and Brittni on their wedding day, and in the meantime caught all the best moments. Below are a few of our favorite shots from the day.

As usual, Kyle Hancock's beautiful wedding photography preserves these special memories for Brittni and Aaron.
